Get Involved

There are many ways to be involved with us at Redeemer. Below are many of those options. If you are interested in being involved please reach out to our pastor. He’d be more than happy to help you get connected.

Opportunities to Assist on Sundays

  • Altar Guild: Ensure that the elements in the Chancel and items for Holy Communion are properly cared for and ready for the Divine Service.

  • Ushers: Assist during services with seating, distribution of bulletins, gathering of the offering, and ushering for communion.

  • Greeters: Welcome worshipers as they arrive for services.

  • Choir: Sing in the choir on Sundays.

  • Instrumentalists: Help to accompany the service with instrumentation.

  • Sanctuary Care Team: Help to re-organize the sanctuary after service.

  • Flowers: Members can sign up to provide flowers for the altar.

  • Name Tag Sunday Helpers: Help set up and serve treats and coffee.

Christian Education

  • Sunday School Teachers: Teach a Sunday School class from 9:00-9:45 a.m.

  • Youth Group: Assist with youth group activities.

Boards for Congregational Service

  • Board of Evangelism: Guides congregational efforts in missions and evangelism.

  • Board of Stewardship: Guides and oversees the financial assets of the congregation and promotes scripturally-informed stewardship of God-given resources.

  • Board of Trustees: Oversees the maintenance and upkeep of the physical property of the congregation.

  • Board of Education: Oversees the maintenance and upkeep of the physical property of the congregation.

  • Board of Social Concerns: Oversees the congregations’ outreach in the congregation and the community.

Fellowship & Service

  • Lutheran Women's Missionary League: Women of all ages join together once a month for fellowship, service, and Bible study in affiliation LWML. Bake and craft sales held twice a year to benefit a mission.

  • College & Young Adults: College students and young adults who meet weekly for bible study and fellowship as well as regularly for other events as announced.

  • American Heritage Girls & Trail Life USA: Assist with our Christian based scouting groups for boys and girls. There are many opportunities for service with these groups.
