Holy Communion

It is our great joy to welcome Guests to our services at Redeemer! Guests who are communicant members in good standing of LCMS congregations and our sister church bodies are asked to announce themselves to the Pastor prior to the service.

Redeemer is a member congregation of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod, which practices closed communion.

If you would like to join us in partaking of the Blessed Sacrament of the Altar, please feel free to reach out. You may read more here.

Divine Service

In the Divine Service, Christ comes to us with His gifts, offering forgiveness, reassurance, strength, and guidance through His Word and Sacraments—Baptism, the Lord’s Supper, and Confession & Absolution.

  • Every Sunday the historic liturgy reliably guides worshipers through the waters of their Baptism to Confession & Absolution, God’s Word, prayers, and the Lord’s Supper.

  • We emphasize two core messages: the Law (God’s commands, which show us our sin) and the Gospel (God’s promises in Christ, which show us our Savior). Without the Law, there’s no need for a Savior. Without the Gospel, there’s no hope for salvation.

  • We adhere to the practices of the “one holy catholic and apostolic church.”

  • The Sacrament of the Altar is celebrated every week.

  • We sing traditional hymns that reinforce our beliefs and unite us—with each other and with the universal Church.

Sacred Music

One of the great gifts that the Lord gives to His Church is the gift of music, to employ music in the service of the Gospel. Because of this, at Redeemer, we delight to adorn the Lord’s Church with Sacred Music, predominately using the great hymns of the church alongside the Psalter and other songs as appropriate.

If you would like to assist with our music, either in the choir, as an instrumentalist, or in another way, please reach out to our pastor.

"And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.” (Colossians 3:15–17)

The final aim and reason of all music is nothing other than the glorification of God and the refreshment of the spirit.
